Dr. Scott has owned BVC since 1991. She attended Wayne State University as an undergraduate and received her DVM degree from Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1986.
Dr. Scott has a special interest in Internal Medicine, particularly cases that are complex and difficult. She is one of the first veterinarians in the area to treat birds and other exotic pets. Aside from private practice, Dr Scott is an avid runner, having completed over 20 marathons in several states. She also enjoys tennis, art and cooking, along with spending time with her husband, son, two dogs and cat.
Marie has been a licensed veterinary technician since 1980 and worked at several practices before joining BVC in 1992. She holds a black belt in Tai Kwon Do and enjoys boxing and spending time with her 11 mini dachshunds.
Roy joined BVC in 2014 and has been a licensed veterinary technician since 2009. He attended Wayne County Community College Veterinary Technology Program where he earned his associates degree. Roy is also a licensed EMT and received his training at Wayne County Community College, class of 1976. In his spare time, Roy enjoys tactical handgun and carbine shooting/training, cartoons and has practiced Transcendental Meditation since 1975. He lives with several cats and believes he saw Bigfoot while camping a few years ago.
Taylor joined BVC in 2008 as a veterinary assistant and has worked in the field since 2005. Her hobbies include traveling, especially Northern Michigan, the U.S. and Europe, along with skiing, sailing and hiking. Taylor and her husband are expecting their first child in May 2016.
Sherry has worked at BVC since 2006 following her retirement from the city of Southfield where she was an Animal Control Officer for 27 years. In her spare time, Sherry enjoys the outdoors, playing classical guitar and spending time with her English Bulldog, Molly.
